Usher's Stepson Kile Glover Laid To Rest In Atlanta

Family and friends gathered privately in Atlanta on Friday (July 27) to lay to rest young Kile Glover, <a href="http://www.mtv.com/music/artist/usher/artist.jhtml">Usher Raymond</a>'s 11-year old stepson, who died from injuries suffered in a tragic <a href="/news/articles/1689206/ushers-stepson-declared-brain-dead-after-jet-ski-accident.jhtml">Jet Ski accident</a> earlier this month.Glover was the son of Usher's ex-wife, Tameka Foster, and Atlanta TV executive Ryan Glover. He was struck by a Jet Ski while floating in an inner tube on Atlanta's Lake Lanier on July 6.There was no fanfare outside the Wieuca Road Baptist Church on Peachtree Road where the funeral was held, but inside, the Glover, Foster and Raymond families received tremendous amounts of support from many esteemed members of Atlanta's music and political communities. Ludacris, Jazze Pha and Phaedra Parks from "The Real Housewives of Atlanta" were just some of the celebrities in attendance. The hour-long service began at 11 a.m.<div class="player-placeholder right" title="Usher's Stepson Kile Glover Is Laid To Rest" id="vid:819972" width="415" height="255"></div>Young Kile was airlifted to Children's Healthcare of Atlanta, where doctors subsequently pronounced him brain-dead. "We know God's in control, and are leaning on our faith in Him and His word at this most difficult time," the family told CNN in a statement. "We firmly believe in the power of prayer and ask that you all continue to pray and lift Kile up, as it's the best way we can all support him now."Glover passed away on July 21 after being removed from <a href="/news/articles/1690157/usher-stepson-kile-glover-taken-off-life-support.jhtml">life support</a>.Atlanta radio personality and Cash Money record artist DJ Greg Street sent out a tweet immediately after hearing the news of Glover's death, expressing his support for the family. "Lil RG is an Angel now, Ryan, Tameka, Usher & the whole Glover Family we gotta make him proud," he wrote.The man driving the Jet Ski has been identified as 38-year-old Jeffrey S. Hubbard, a friend of the family. Police have determined that no drugs were involved in the accident, and Hubbard has not been charged with a crime. Usher's Stepson's Family Asks For Prayers Following Jet Ski Accident

Glover, the son of Usher's ex-wife Tameka Foster, was <a href="/news/articles/1689206/ushers-stepson-declared-brain-dead-after-jet-ski-accident.jhtml">pronounced brain dead</a> on Sunday, but his family has issued a statement, saying that they are keeping positive thoughts and asking for prayers."We know God's in control, and are leaning on our faith in Him and His word at this most difficult time," the family told <a href="http://www.cnn.com/2012/07/10/showbiz/usher-stepson-injured/index.html" target="_blank">CNN</a> in a statement. "We firmly believe in the power of prayer and ask that you all continue to pray and lift Kile up, as it's the best way we can all support him now."According to CNN, Glover's family has already held a vigil for him at the hospital, and Usher visited the 11-year-old the morning after he was admitted to the hospital. The two had reportedly grown close during the R&B singer's two-year marriage to Foster.The accident took place on Friday (July 6) when Glover and a second victim, a 15-year-old girl, were struck by a jet-ski while floating on an inner tube in Atlanta's Lake Lanier. Both children were airlifted to the Children's Healthcare of Atlanta at Egleston pediatric hospital. The girl is reported to have suffered from a cut on the head and a broken arm, while Glover took the brunt of the trauma to his head.The man driving the jet ski has been identified as 38-year-old Jeffrey S. Hubbard, a family friend. At this time the police have determined that no drugs were involved, and no charges are being pressed. On Sunday TMZ reported that Glover was declared brain dead when doctors determined that he had not experienced any brain activity since he was admitted to the hospital on Friday.Friends of Usher and his ex-wife have sent their well-wishes to the family via Twitter. "Wishing @TamekaRaymond's son godspeed recovery. horrible news to hear," Roots drummer Questlove tweeted, while Jermaine Dupri added, "Lifers! pls say a prayer for man Ryan, Tameka, Usher and the Glover family."

<a href="http://www.mtv.com/music/artist/bieber_justin/artist.jhtml">Justin Bieber</a> tweeted that when he was looking for inspiration for his <a href="/news/articles/1690963/justin-bieber-as-long-as-you-love-me-music-video-premiere.jhtml">"As Long As You Love Me" video</a>, there was no one he wanted to <a href="/news/articles/1691049/justin-bieber-as-long-as-you-love-me-michael-jackson.jhtml">emulate more than Michael Jackson</a>.Coincidentally, when he needed someone to play his foe in the clip, he looked no further than a guy who has some experience working with Jackson.That man is Michael Madsen, who appeared in Jackson's 2001 gangster-themed video for "You Rock My World" off his Invincible album. Oddly enough, the only people that have ever really asked the hard-edged actor to appear in videos happen to be Bieber and Jackson.<div class="player-placeholder right" title="Michael Madsen Has A Soft Spot For Justin Bieber" id="vid:822276" width="415" height="255"></div>"Hardly ever [am I asked to be in videos], that was why it was kind of funny cause that doesn't usually happen," he told MTV News. It was that cinematic storyline that got Madsen interested."I didn't want to imagine myself on a trampoline with a lollipop, so I asked for the story. I realized it was almost like a film production; and of course, I kind of figured that it might be an interesting thing to do," he said about the Anthony Mandler-directed video. "I didn't know what to expect... I was surprised... They got me a good wardrobe. That was my shirt though. I brought my own shirt; those kinds of shirts are kind of rare."The story is so much Shakespearian; the couple, they run off together out the window," he later continued. "It's rather like that, I thought that was interesting. And I thought the kid, he had an enormous talent and he was very gracious to my sons and was very gracious to my family."It was actually those sons that convinced the Hawaiian-shirt-wearing "Kill Bill" star to make the video with Bieber. "Well I was surprised at first that the kid was interested in having me be part of his video," he recalled. "I went to my sons and I asked my boys, I asked my sons what they thought if I should if they thought I should do it or not. And, of course, they gently placed their hand on my shoulder and said 'Dad don't you realize who Justin Bieber is?' And I said 'Well, no, actually I didn't.' The troubled actress is featured in a new campaign for the denim brand, with the shoot having taken place at the SLS Hotel in Los Angeles. Of choosing LiLo for the gig, a Jag spokesperson told, “As Jag Jeans’ newest endorser, Lindsay embodies the strength and fearlessness of the woman of today. She is unafraid to be who she is. She is fierce yet exudes feminine grace.” Miss Lohan's photo session was spearheaded by world-renowned photographer YuTsai, who has worked in the past with top names including Anne Hathaway, Mila Kunis, Rihanna and Janet Jackson. It's hard to associate <MTVNLINK type="artist" id="3213641">Ke$ha</MTVNLINK> with songs about anything other than hot guys, body glitter and partying. But she's defying her usual topics of interest for human rights organization Amnesty International. The singer is one of the many musicians on the org's Chimes of Freedom compilation of Bob Dylan's music, out January 24.<div class="player-placeholder right" title="Ke$ha Calls Bob Dylan Cover Choice 'An Accident'" id="vid:720838" width="240" height="211"></div>When MTV News spoke with K-Dollar Sign last week about her <a href="/news/articles/1676172/kesha-sleazy-remix.jhtml">all-star remix of "Sleazy,"</a> she also opened up about switching gears vocally and emotionally for her version of Dylan's classic "Don't Think Twice, It's All Right.""I mean, I think it's pretty well known that he's one of, if not my most, favorite artists of all time and ... one of the most amazing lyricists as well — the original storyteller," she explained. "So I love Bob Dylan and this was just, like, a dream. When they asked me to do a cover, I was just, like, salivating and going through all my records. It was so fun. It was the best homework assignment you could possibly have."K's version of Dylan's song is a slow-burning, heartbreaking ode to the already heartbreaking classic, where she channels Dylan through lyrics like "Still I wish there was somethin' you would do or say/ To try and make me change my mind and stay/ We never did too much talkin' anyway/ So don't think twice, it's all right."<div class="player-placeholder right" title="What Is The Biggest Perk Of Being A Headliner? (2011)" id="vid:642810" width="240" height="211"></div>Ke$ha had originally intended to record another Dylan track, but when she heard that someone else had their sights set on it, she settled on "Don't Think Twice," prompting a catharsis she could never have imagined."This song was kind of an accident. I sat down and this is the first take that I ever sang," she recalled. "I just sat down on my bed for the first time after months of being on tour and I just started crying, and it was kind of like an emotional purging, and you can hear it on the record."In addition to Ke$ha and her contribution, the album will feature 75 other Dylan classics recorded by nearly 80 artists including Adele, Miley Cyrus, "Glee" star Darren Criss, My Chemical Romance, Evan Rachel Wood and Sugarland. The album pays tribute to the 50th anniversary of Amnesty International.

"BBW" star Tami Roman, who revealed the tension between her and former husband Kenny Anderson on the show, has finally settled her child support lawsuit with the former NBA baller.

Filed back in 2005 when Tami claims Kenny had stopped paying his $8,500/month child support payments, the amount had ballooned to $800K. But now, the two have recently settled out of court and folks say Tami will get a little less than the $800K....but at least she'll get it. Tami will be paid incrementally through Kenny's NBA retirement fund.

Also, Tami says Kenny has become more involved in the lives of their daughters Lyric and Jazz.

Evelyn Lozada REVEALS She Was "HUMILIATED, EMBARASSED...IN SHOCK" By DOMESTIC DISPUTE With Chad Johnson

"BBW" star Evelyn Lozada tearfully revealed deets about the domestic dispute between she and estranged husband Chad Johnson on Nightline tonight. Get the deets on what happened and why Evelyn decided to walk away from the marriage inside.......

Evelyn Lozada sat for a revealing interview with Nightline last night where she opened up about the public failure of her marriage to Chad Johnson and why she walked away from their life together after only 41 days.

She said it all began when she found a receipt in Chad's car.

"...And the very first thing that was on there was that he purchased a box of condoms. So I looked at the date and it was, like, July 20 something, it was literally, like, three weeks after my wedding."

Evelyn confronted Chad about the receipt and he denied sleeping around...but she didn't buy it.

"I knew that he was lying. And I told him, I never forget telling him, I said, "I'm not stickin' by you through this. I don't care if my marriage is the laughing stock of the world and people laugh at me. I'm not stickin' by you through this."

Then....

"He got upset. He just....he came a whole other person and he was like, "I didn't-- I didn't do anything. You're accusing me." And then the next thing I know, he-- he grabbed me by here and he headbutted me. And all I felt was, you know...I felt, like, you know, blood coming down my face."

Evelyn was treated at the hospital and given 6 stitches for the headbutt while Chad was arrested for the assault.

When asked how she felt after the issue hit the media, she said, "...Humiliated, embarrassed...in shock. I was in shock that my fairytale, my life or, you know, I felt like I was supposed to be starting my life, had just ended."

When questioned about her image on "BBW" and critics who say she might have "deserved it" (because of karma) Ev said,

"I understand it, but I also think that it's like saying, "Well, look at that woman that-- look at what she had on. That's why she got raped," you know? I just feel like-- I feel it's a little unfair, you know? Whatever the perception of me is on Basketball Wives, that doesn't justify what happened that day, you know? That's catty drama amongst women on a reality show."

So where does Evelyn go from here? Will we still see her jumping on tables and throwing bottles? She said,

"You won't see me throwin' a bottle. I'll tell you that. You know-- I'm always gonna voice my opinion. But you won't see me actin' a fool, you know? I've grown a lot in the last couple months."

And for those wondering where Evelyn stands with Chad, she closed out her Nightline interview by saying, "Yes, I still love him. It's the hardest thing (CRYING) in the world to walk away from someone that you really love, but you have to walk away because I have to protect myself."
